NATCA represents all the nations air traffic controllers. Their union is the exclusive bargaining agent of the Federal Aviation Administration’s controller workforce representing over 16,000 members. Daily on the frontline of air travelers safety, NATCA strives to promote professional development as members continually embrace new technologies and modern procedures. To that end, they decided to launch a new “members only” online newsletter as an exclusive portal to communicate more efficiently and effectively. To promote member engagement right from the start, they asked us to design an eye-catching direct mail piece that could not be ignored. We responded with this colorful multi-panel piece, featuring a die-cut window, that immediately engages the recipient and reveals panel by panel what members can expect from the new online offering. As a self-contained self-mailer, the package can be easily mailed without the added inconvenience of an envelope, which would only detract from its initial impact.
