National Geographic
In their Washington, DC headquarters the National Geographic gallery periodically hosts select artist exhibitions. We were privileged to work with them on a catalog documenting the Farouk Hosny exhibition of contemporary Egyptian paintings. To reflect the colorful abstract quality of the work, we developed a complementary palette of colors to frame and highlight each painting. A transparent vellum flyleaf inside the front cover created an ethereal entrance to the fresh clean lines of the book’s layout and bold graphic paintings.
