When the American Gas Association relocated to the metropolitan Washington DC area, merging with another industry trade group, they sought a new identity to herald their evolution as the industry’s premiere new advocacy group. Dever Designs was approached to facilitate a process between the two merging entities that would explore and define a consensus vision for the new AGA’s brand. Armed with their definitive mandate, our design team then explored a range of possibilities. Then with the clients thoughtful review and feedback we were able to produce the final logo and attendant identity standards. The final vote of confidence in a job well done was the association’s decision to cap their building with the new logo on the Northern Virginia skyline.
