IAAPA launched the Ticket for Fun website with a high-profile media blitz. The campaign consisted of staggered advance mailings followed by a media kit to generate buzz in the travel press, and attract consumers to their searchable website. We designed the elaborate folder to be used for several seasons. To control cost, the package contained several “evergreen” information cards along with customizable preprinted insert sheets that could be easily personalized to each journalist. The kit also featured a bellyband wrapper to make the presentation feel like opening a surprise package. The band also highlighted the year of the media kit and could be inexpensively updated annually.
