Racine Art Museum
For this museum’s seminal exhibition on the art of polymer clay, Dever Designs was enlisted to create a hardbound commemorative catalog. In consultation with the writers and exhibition curator the book was thoughtfully divided into three sections – essays, featured artists, and the “polymer collection project”. The resulting design was a flexible free-form layout that highlighted a wide range of art without overwhelming it. With a combination of silhouetted and cropped images the book reflects an air of traditional formality with a contemporary flair.
